ART on FIRST Art Gallery has been bringing beauty into YOUR world since June of  2024. This Gallery of beautiful things,  is a woman artist-owned contemporary fine art gallery in the heart of Ashland, Oregon, dedicated to celebrating beauty, originality, passion, and a connection to positive creative expression.

Our gallery represents over 45 artists and offers a thoughtfully curated collection of fine art and sculpture, unique  fine jewelry, wearable and functional art , wood and glass, from established and emerging artists, mostly local, some regional, and couple of national and international artists, whose passion and originality truly shines through in their work, pushing the boundaries of creativity and technique.

We welcome collectors, travelers, gift buyers, and art lovers seeking meaningful pieces that bring warmth and inspiration into their lives.

Through our intentionally welcoming approach, we create a refined yet approachable gallery experience where art feels personal, uplifting, and accessible to all.

Our "First Friday on First"  Artist Reception features the work of one of our resident artists. It marks the inauguration of their show that will be featured all month and will be available thereafter online, and as part of our permanent display. We welcome you every First Friday of the month, from 5-8 pm, with live music, wine and hors d'oeuvres, as part of the Ashland Art Walk. 

 Our "Artist-in-Action" series happens every Third Thursday of the month 11-6pm, is dedicated to live demonstrations by one or more of our artists, and welcomes you to connect with them at your own pace.

We also host other special events, including art talks, book launches and concerts. 

Our events are designed to bring together artists, art enthusiasts and the wider community. 

Being inspired by : "The rising tide lifts all boats" ,  we chose to follow a traditional curated representation gallery model over being a cooperative or non-profit gallery that take so much from the artists time and resources. In taking-on all that a gallery entails, we strive to foster long-term relationships with both our artists and patrons and continually look for ways to support our artists in their work, their growth and development.
